Global Women in Leadership Conference (GLOWCO) convened annually to promote the exchange of knowledge, build partnership and networks in various sectors in order to support the opening of new global horizons for women leaders to propagate the concept of gender balance in corporate agencies and government positions while also fostering the the environment provides women leaders an opportunity to contribute to building secure future for less privilege women, children and persons with disability(PWD).

The Conference
The rational for this year conference expectations is born out of the believe that an empowered woman widow is one Less economic problem Solved for Nigeria, as women are multipliers, who have Capacity to grow and multiply whatever seed is given to them.
Introduction
Overtime research has shown that in no country in the world do women have an equal role in setting policies, allocating resources, leading companies, or shaping markets; it is further reviewed that in many countries, more women are working than ever before, but compared to their male counterparts, they are not earning as much, rising as high, or being afforded an equal voice at work, at home, or in the community. In relation to the above, it is supposed that half the world’s talent is left untapped, and we cannot progress on gender equality—or any other issues— unless women can achieve their full potential. Women are indeed under represented and undervalued, from health care and business to public office and the courts.
