The Conference
The rational for this year conference expectations is born out of the believe that an empowered woman/widow is one Less economic problem Solved for Nigeria, as women are multipliers, who have Capacity to grow and multiply whatever seed is given to them.
Introduction
Overtime research has shown that in no country in the world do women have an equal role in setting policies, allocating resources, leading companies, or shaping markets; it is further reviewed that in many countries, more women are working than ever before, but compared to their male counterparts, they are not earning as much, rising as high, or being afforded an equal voice at work, at home, or in the community.
In relation to the above, it is supposed that half the world’s talent is left untapped, and we cannot progress on gender equality—or any other issues— unless women can achieve their full potential. Women are indeed underrepresented and undervalued, from health care and business to public office and the courts. Yet women’s representation in leadership positions has significant implications for everyone’s health, justice, and prosperity. Against this background, the Global Women in leadership conference.
EVENT CONCEPT
Global Women in Leadership CON (GLOWCO) is presenting its first-ever Women in Leadership Gala, as CONVENED by Gallant Women Ability Foundation (G- WAF). One of the event’s primary goals is to have a vast group of “female leaders” from various industries share their insights and experiences about their road to success.

One of the event’s primary goals is to have a vast group of “female leaders” from various industries share their insights and experiences about their road to success.
The event is not only for women in leadership positions but women who are leading by breaking barriers in their respective areas, going against the conventional way of thinking and paving the way for others to follow, women taking up their roles in their households and communities to lead by example.

Hindsight review of women political appointees under the outgoing President Buhari administration, their activities, achievements, challenges, and innovations vis-à-vis its impact on governance, grassroots participation, and development through journals and documentaries. It also features Private Sector Women Leaders as major participants. These women will share personal experiences that will inspire a
lot of participants from around the world.

A night of fun and glamour with the best of Nigeria’s indigenous culture, music, food, and beverages.
THE GLOWCO MAGAZINE PRESENTATION/DOCUMENTARY:
The objective of the book presentation/ documentary premiere is to capture the detailed proceedings, activities, personalities, and milestone events that shaped the Nigeria Women in Leadership
